Although the use of handles is not widespread on Japanese teapots, the most popular form is still the kyūsu handle, which is carved on a lathe. It is very pleasant to hold and, being well integrated with the shape of the teapot, will ensure the best grip and pouring. It is set up for right-handed pouring, but if you are left-handed don't worry, even right-handed people will have to learn how to do it without pouring a drop out of the cup! The small cups that come with the kit are casual and follow the shape of the teapot's body, making a nice set for any occasion. A piece of true Japan in your cabinet!
