This 8th of March as every year is Women’s Day, and what better way to celebrate it than to highlight some of the great brands we collaborate with which are founded by women. At Sowll we believe it is really important to contribute to and enhance women in this business. We are proud to say that many of the brands we work with are founded by women who believe in our gentle revolution and a more sustainable future. Here are some women which we believe you should know:

First of all, La Rulet, a brand which we have been collaborating with since the beginning, founded by Tijana Mijalovic. It is a jewelry and beauty accessories brand focused on blending tradition with contemporary designs. With a big focus on sustainability, for example by using recycled materials for most of its jewelry. La Rulet takes inspiration from different sources such as architecture and music to give life to its pieces, which gives them a unique feel.

One of the newest brands we have on Sowll is Sicels, a jewelry and accessories brand born in Copenhagen and founded by Mariapia Mineo. The brand takes its inspiration from Mediterranean culture, following a minimalistic approach. Focusing on sustainability from its production (using sustainable materials) to its ethical packaging. It will make you live the whole conscious experience seeing how every detail has been developed ethically till it gets to your door.

Some clothing and bags you will love

Aramù, a ready to wear clothing brand founded by Elisa Aramú, is one of the many Italian female-founded brands which are part of our Gentle Revolution. What makes this brand unique is that they make use of dead stock high quality fabric, as well as making every garment only on pre-order ensuring that there is no material waste contributing to a more sustainable future. Definitely a versatile must-have in your wardrobe.

Studio Sarta, a bags brand by Giorgia Gaeta, developed some of our best-selling products, such as the Jude bag and the Olivia shoulder bag. These are some versatile and high-quality bags produced in an ethical way following the Italian craftsmanship tradition. A must-have for your wardrobe as it offers versatile pieces that keep you up to date and always cool. Being the perfect bags for it with its minimalistic aesthetic and dynamic shapes.

Focus on your wellness

Within our Vitamins and Supplements category there is Depuravita, a brand founded by Sandra Nassima. It sells food supplements made with natural ingredients. Something really interesting about this brand is its approach based on ancient practices such as Scandinavian medicine. With the objective of contributing to people’s wellbeing and health.

Another of the main product categories we have at Sowll is Beauty, with Quinque being one of the woman-founded ones. This brand was founded by Mercedes Marcos. They develop cosmetics made mostly with natural products, for example of ingredients such as CBD,  focusing on how to use them to enhance your wellness and skin health.

Finally, another brand we have been collaborating with for a while related to something we believe is really important for your wellness and health is House of Mats, a Spanish brand founded by Lucía Denevi. Her brand designs yoga mats with the objective of creating unique items, with a big focus on sustainability, as it takes special care of every single stage of the production of its designs, from the design to getting to the final consumer. Making use of recycled materials whilst avoiding plastics.
